Product Description
The working principle of core drill is to generate rotating oscillation force through the rotation of steel pipe and drill bit, so that hard rock is subjected to pressure, friction, impact and other forces to cut and break, forming drill holes and then obtain core samples.
Core drill structure mainly includes titanium alloy drill pipe, hook, belt conveyor, carriage, drill, drilling tools, washing pump, crusher, rotary mechanism and other parts. Among them, drill pipe is used to drill deep into the earth's crust, coil hooks are used to lift and suspend drill pipe and transport core, both electronically controlled and hand-operated, belt conveyors are used to transport core samples, and carriages are of different sizes, which can adapt to different rock conditions, for storage of core and transport equipment.
The drill bit is the core component of a core drill. It is made of steel, tungsten alloy, or other high-hardness materials and has a sharp cone or bend Angle to further improve cutting efficiency and allow for better contact with rock. The drilling tool refers to the casing and casing, etc., to ensure the stability and deformation of the drilling hole, while preventing the rock collapse accident. Flushing pumps pump water or mud to bring cuttings out of the wellhead and reduce bit temperature and wear. The crusher is prepared for quartz and other hard rocks that are difficult to be cut. It can increase the speed of gravel entering the tube and improve the drilling rate.
The advantage of core drill is that it can cut core samples of deep rock in the earth's crust, and the samples can represent the properties, composition and changes of rocks in this layer. The analysis of cores can be used to reconstruct the earth's history, predict natural disasters, detect mineral deposits, and conduct petroleum geological exploration. Drilling depth can be from tens of meters to two or three kilometers, a wide range of sampling, can be more accurate to understand the rock change law, such as deformation, rock properties, ore deposit types. In addition, the core drill can also be used in deep sea to drill the seafloor, providing valuable samples for Marine geology.
