Brief Introduction of GEOIP-4 Advance Portable Induced Polarization Nodes

  Hi, dear fellow geophysicists and geophysical service companies. Are you still using traditional cable based IP meter? As we all know, induced polarization is the most effective and economical method for metal ore minerals exploration. But at the same time, we ignore its shortages. So many cables need to be installed before measurement and too much steps need to be taken each time. Time and labor cost is high. 

  With the aim of simplifying operation and saving labor & time costs, we developed GEOIP-4 wireless IP nodes. It not only has the function of ladder and profile sounding in the conventional IP meter , but also realizes 2D rapid line sweep and 3D rapid surface sweep.

 

Compared with conventional IP meter, how does GEOIP-4 work?

  GEOIP-4 is an integrited IP data acquisation station and each node play the same role like coventional IP meter electrodes. But its specing and layout are more flexible and versatile. 

  It is tiny and lightweight, flexible layout, adapt to a variety of complex terrain in the field. Adapting with GD-60A high power electromagnetic transmitter, it can realize several nodes works at the same time.
