Product Description

The basic principle of electromagnetic method is the law of electromagnetic induction. The decay process is generally divided into early, middle and late stages. The early electromagnetic field is equivalent to the high-frequency components in the frequency domain, which attenuates quickly and has a small skin depth. While the late component is equivalent to the low frequency component in the frequency domain, slow attenuation, large skin depth. The geoelectric characteristics of different depths can be obtained by measuring the change law of secondary field with time in each time period after power failure.

Features of electromagnetic instrument

● Three component simultaneous observation,

● Short turn-off time large amount of information: turn-off time is one of the important technical indicators of transient electromagnetic instrument, long turn-off time, will lose shallow signal, weaken the intensity of secondary field, directly affect the detection effect. This machine can short cut-off time and 0.5 mu v. depends on transmitter performance, emission current cut-off time and launch the coil size.

● High resolution, large dynamic range: due to the transient electromagnetic field from early to late change amplitude from n×105μv to 0.nμv. Up to 6 orders of magnitude, so the signal resolution and dynamic range are required to be high. PROTEM signal resolution for 24, system resolution for 29, 175 db dynamic range.

● High signal-to-noise ratio: WTEM transient electromagnetic instrument to take a variety of measures to improve the signal-to-noise ratio, including the suppression of power frequency interference, the use of "smart stack" technology and improve the repetition rate and so on. Repetition rate is how many bipolar pulses can be emitted in one second. The repetition rate of WTEM is 237.5HZ-0.25HZ, namely 4.2ms-25ms, which is optional. It can therefore transmit 14,250-2,400 pulses and receive as many transient electromagnetic signals during a 30-second observation period. If the repetition rate is 25HZ-0.416HZ, that is, 40ms-24,000ms, it can only transmit and receive 1,500-0.083 signals within 30 seconds of observation, that is, the signal-to-noise ratio of the former is 10 times higher than that of the latter within the same observation time.

● High stability, wide working temperature: repeatability and stability including observation instrument failure rate. The observation repeatability of WTEM is 100% and the instrument failure is very low. WTEM's operating temperature range is -40℃-+60℃, in any season, any region can be smoothly observed; If working temperature range is very narrow, it can only be in the right season or suitable areas for field observation.
