2/3D Super High-Density Electric Survey System For Underground Water Well Detector
Survey
Gold Company used WGMD-9 high-density electrical method to detect the underground water seepage channels in a residential area. By observing and analyzing the apparent resistivity inversion images, tracking the low resistivity anomalies to determine the location of the underground water seepage channels and the water-rich area, it was ultimately discovered that the groundwater within the site flows from west to east under the influence of gravity. It passes through two seepage channels between the underground garage ceiling and the outer wall of the underground garage, converging into a water-rich area on the southeast side of the site, causing localized water seepage in the lower part of the stone slope.
Equipment Used
• WGMD-9 Super Electric Multi-electrode Survey System
• WDA-1 Super Digital DC Resistivity&IP Meter
• WDZJ-4 Multi-electrode Converter
Result
There is a significant difference in resistivity between the soil and the water-rich seepage channels, which is a key physical premise for applying high-density electrical methods in detecting underground water seepage channels.
By using high-density electrical methods for detecting underground water seepage channels, the high resolution of the inversion images can effectively reveal the underground water seepage channels and water-rich areas at a macro level.
By utilizing high-density electrical methods and continuously tracking the low-resistivity areas in the inversion images, it was inferred that there are two seepage channels and one water-rich area in the residential area, providing an accurate basis for designing subsequent treatment plans.
